I was wondering the same thing, thanks for the clarification! Wow, what do you do with all those cranberries? I love cranberries but I don't really ever cook with them, please enlighten me! :)

I originally started canning cranberries to familiarize myself with the [water bath] canning process before I moved onto "harder" things. I grew up watching my mom, grandma, & aunts can - so I really wanted to try it out for myself (and the $$ savings).

While I haven't moved on (yet), I've been canning cranberries for 3 years. They are so great! We are always very sad when we run out, usually mid-summer.

Their tart/sweet flavor is a great addition to many different things.

Here's what we use them for:

> Chicken/Turkey/Ham sandwiches - either as a side or on the actual sandwich
> Pancake topping
> Nice side to savory meals
> Ice cream topping
> I even eat them in a PB&C sandwich
> Gifts (Squeeze's Grandma LOVES this)
> Holiday dinners
